About Jessica L. Hopper
Understanding the emotional toll that contentious family law issues can take, Ms. Hopper is committed to guiding her clients toward a more positive chapter in their lives. In complex cases, she is acutely aware of the impact on her clients’ daily routines and prioritizes their peace of mind and aspirations.
Ms. Hopper’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education and English literature from Mercyhurst University in 2003. She then received her Juris Doctor in litigation from Cooley Law School in 2007.
Work on Family Law
Before joining Hopper Hopper & Strebe LLP, Ms. Hopper refined her legal acumen as a family law facilitator/managing attorney at Placer County Superior Court, an associate attorney at a Rocklin, California, family law firm; of counsel at a family law firm in Carmel, Indiana; and as a director / community prosecutor and department head of sex crimes prosecution with the Hamilton County (Indiana) Prosecutor's Office, among other roles.
With a background as a former sex crimes prosecutor and having conducted over a dozen jury trials, Ms. Hopper is well-versed in the intricacies of the courtroom and also has vast experience providing mediation services in her time employed with the Placer County Superior Court. Ms. Hopper extends her services to clients throughout Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo Counties as well as in the Bay Area.
